Water filters

Cleaner water, from the tap you drink from.

Kitchen-tap drinking-water filtration that removes sediment, chlorine and taste. Pairs cleanly with a softener for the full set, or sits standalone if you only want better drinking water. From £220 + VAT, installed.

Types we install

Three options. We'll recommend one — or none.

The right filter depends on what you actually want to fix. We test the water at your tap and recommend only what your home needs.

Kitchen-tap drinking-water filter

A small cartridge under the kitchen sink, plumbed to a dedicated drinking tap or the cold side of the existing mixer. Removes sediment, chlorine and taste. From £220 + VAT, installed.

Franke / 3M dual-flo systems

Premium kitchen-tap systems with separate filtered and unfiltered flow through a single tap body. Clean look, easy cartridge change.

Reverse-osmosis purifier

For the cleanest possible drinking water — see the dedicated purifier page. Under-sink, with its own dispensing tap. From £950 installed.

Filter vs softener vs RO

What each system actually does.

A filter removes contaminants — it doesn't soften. A softener removes hardness — it doesn't filter. Here's the honest comparison.

The promise

Only the filter you actually need.

If a kitchen-tap drinking-water filter is the right answer, we'll fit one from £220 + VAT. If you'd be better served by a softener (or by no filter at all), we'll tell you. We don't upsell.

Drinking-tap filter + softener

Fitted a kitchen-tap filter alongside the softener — tea tastes properly now, no metallic note. Cartridge took five minutes to swap when we hit the year.

A softener removes the calcium and magnesium that cause limescale, but it does not remove chlorine, sediment, or improve drinking-water taste. A small kitchen-tap drinking-water filter completes the set.
